EUR/USD's ZAR pip value is larger than USD/TRY at comparable lot sizes — and it changes daily with USD/TRY. At USD/TRY 18.00, 1 standard lot on EUR/USD costs R180 per pip versus R10 per pip on USD/TRY. For a ZAR-account trader wanting to risk R500 on a 50-pip stop, the correct lot size is: R500 ÷ (50 × R18.00) = 0.0056 standard lots (5.6 micro-lots).
EUR/USD vs EUR/TRY — Which to Trade?
